Da Vinci Hotel

It's surprisingly good! The room is very decent, especially given the price.

This hotel was perfect for my husband and I. We loved that even though it’s an old building, it is very clean. Most hotels provide super thin pillows that give you neck pain when you wake up. At the DaVinci Hotel, their pillows to sleep on were very comfortable because they were firm which allows for great sleep! We loved the price, location, quietness of the street and super friendly staff who gave us lots of recommendations, including the authentic Italian restaurant Joe G’s downstairs. We are not sure when we will make it back to NYC, as this was a bucket list for us to visit the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, but when we come back, we will make accommodations to stay at The DaVinci Hotel again. Just wrapped up a 5-night stay at Da Vinci Hotel, and honestly, the location is the star here — easy 5/5. Right on 56th between Broadway and 8th Ave, you're super close to Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle, and a short walk to Central Park or Times Square without being smack in the chaos. Multiple subway lines (N/Q/R/W, 1, A/C/E nearby) make getting around effortless, and plenty of restaurants, Whole Foods, and coffee spots within a couple blocks.

Overall, the experience was ok. The room looked exactly like the photos. The location is convenient — just a short walk to the subway — and the WiFi worked well throughout the stay. On the downside, the bed sheets could be better, and the towels were quite worn — it would be nice if they replaced them. Still, for the price, it’s not a bad choice in NYC.

I forgot to take a picture when we arrived, when everything was nicely ready for us, but we are satisfied with the price-quality ratio! The hotel is located 5 minutes from Central Park!!! The location was awsome, everything was clean, we had air conditioning and fast Wi-Fi, clean towels, soap and shower gel... All in all, very satisfied! Don't forget that rooms in NYC are generally small and everything is much more expensive

We were thoroughly impressed with this hotel. For an economy option, especially during the busy Thanksgiving holiday, it exceeded our expectations in every way – from its convenient location and budget-friendly price to the comfortable and well-maintained rooms. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and our room was surprisingly quiet and clean. We particularly appreciated the minimal light pollution, ensuring a peaceful and restful night’s sleep free from the distraction of glaring LED lights. Without hesitation, we will choose this hotel again for future trips to New York. We wholeheartedly recommend it to other travelers.

The Da Vinci Hotel was nice and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I slept very well and comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay.

For a one-day stay, the location and price are satisfactory. However, the furniture and building are old, so there are no convenient facilities (fitness, business center), and the amenities are not very good quality . The bed and blanket smell like old people. Not recommended for families or couples.
